Do you like the ten years guy?  I do, I think he's really good.  His real name is Jeremy Piven and his family run the Piven Theatre Workshop that the entire Cusack clan used to attend.  That's probably why he's the ten years guy, because he knew them.  Well no I guess that's obvious really isn't it, not just probable.
I call him the ten years guy, 'cause that's what he says in Grosse Pointe Blank, "Ten years!".  He's so funny!  His characters real name is Paul Spericki or something like that.  Nice name.
See, I'm a fan of the ten years guy because you know that bit in Grosse Pointe Blank where he's at the "I've peaked and I'm kidding myself party" (Ho Ho, he gets all the good lines) and he says "Hey Jenny Slater" over and over again.  I kept having this dream where he kept saying hello to me like that all the time, probably because I've seen Grosse Pointe Blank somewhere around five hundred thousand times. 
Scary huh (I mean my dream, not me liking Grosse Pointe Blank that much)?  What do you think it means?
Now I know he's not tall, dark and handsome like his co-star but he's not ugly (I know he's hovering around the five foot mark, I know there's more hair on his body than on his head but he's so cute!), and I know he didn't get the part because he's a good actor, although he really is, but I think the ten years guy is totally excellent in his own little way. 
I think he's seriously overlooked to tell the truth, everyone talks about how funny John Cusack is in that movie, and lets face it he's absolutely hilarious, but the ten years guy is just as funny and because he's not so famous, and I am having an impossible time trying to figure out why, he doesn't have many fans to talk about him. 
Isn't that sad?  Doesn't that just break your heart?  If you came here from my John Cusack site then you will know that I'm not a very caring sixteen year old, especially not about people I've never met but I think that the ten years guy doesn't get enough credit.

Are you a closet Jeremy Piven fan?  Do you think the sun shines out of his ass?  Have you met him?  I'm dying to know, really I am.  Please email me and tell me all about it.  You'll give me something to put on my page, after all there's not a lot I can write about him, I mean I only learnt that he was Jeremy Piven the night before writing this.  I seriously thought that him turning up in movies with John Cusack was either a fluke or they met on a set and quite liked each other.  I didn't think that they actually knew each other, not in a previous life before they were in the movies together.
